A key player for RCB who could have featured in the playing XI but is likely to miss in England all-rounder Jacob Bethell.

The biggest purchase for RCB in the IPL 2025 auction was star Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood , who was purchased by the franchise for a sum of Rs 12.5 crore. However, he missed the Champions Trophy 2025 for Australia due to a hip injury. Hence, RCB might need to head into the match without their strike fast bowler.

In Hazlewood’s absence, the onus will be on Bhuvneshwar Kumar to lead the pace attack. Lungi Ngidi will be the first-choice overseas pacer. Rasikh Dar and Yasah Dayal will also provide balance to the attack. Krunal Pandya will be the frontline spinner, and Suyash Sharma can be brought in as an impact player to add variety to the attack.
