Nvidia still hasn’t confirmed the existence of GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 graphics cards, but a fresh set of leaked data is providing an ever clearer glimpse of what could be arriving soon in laptop GPU form. If you’re in the market for a more affordable version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 series GPUs, you might not have long to wait.
Rumors of an RTX 5060 arriving from Nvidia have been swirling for several months now, but the company has remained tight-lipped. However, last week an RTX 5060 leak by Lenovo revealed some details of what might be arriving when it comes to Nvidia’s mid-range desktop graphics cards, and now Lenovo and two other companies have hinted at the existence and specs of both RTX 5060 and the RTX 5050 laptop GPUs that could soon be arriving in some of the best gaming laptop options.
All three leaks come from the Chinese websites of the three brands and were spotted by Videocardz, with the first leak coming from Razer. In a specs listing for its new Blade 16 laptop – you can read more about that model in our Razer Blade 16 review – it lists the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 as an option for its “graphics capabilities.”
The second and third leaks come from Lenovo and LG, with both revealing the RTX 5050 as an option for upcoming laptops. The Lenovo laptop is the IdeaPad Pro 5 16-inch (2025), and the leak suggests the laptop will be able to tun at 135W of total system output, with its Intel Core Ultra 200H series CPU accounting for 70W of this figure. That suggests the RTX 5050 will be a 65W TDP GPU. As for LG, specs for its LG Gram Pro laptop list an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 8GB option.
All three leaks are no longer shown on the respective websites of the companies so, along with the fact that none of this information has been confirmed by Nvidia, this is just a rumor for the time being. However, with this and previous leaks, we have more and more reason to suspect these products do exist and are set for an imminent arrival.
We’ve collated all the leaked information we’ve encountered so far in our RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 guides, including estimates for the specs, price, and release date. Some of the key takeaways so far are that we’re expecting to see both an RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti, with the latter potentially coming with 16GB of VRAM. That would be more than the RTX 5070, making it a potentially very interesting card, as we found in our RTX 5070 review that this card’s 12GB of VRAM can hold back performance in some games.
All three GPUs are expected to arrive by May, which would coincide with many new laptops and graphics cards possibly being unveiled at the Computex 2025 trade show in Taipei. This annual event is one of the world’s largest showcases of new computer tech and is where, last year, AMD unveiled its Zen 5 CPUs.
While we wait for all these leaks to be confirmed or proved wrong over the coming weeks, why not check out our best graphics card guide for some up-to-date guidance on the top GPUs you can actually buy right now? Stock levels notwithstanding, of course.
