CM Sarma holds meeting with Japanese ministers, vows to strengthen mutual ties
With that objective to strengthen relations between Assam and Japan through shared values and collaborative initiatives and pave the way for industrialization and economic growth, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, on Thursday, met Japan’s State Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism, Furukawa Yasushi, in Tokyo and spoke at length on boosting ties with Japan during his three-day visit to the country.
