Defence Minister Rajnath Singh flagged off ‘Sanjay – Battlefield Surveillance System (BSS)’ in New Delhi. Sanjay is an automated system that integrates information from all ground and air battlefield sensors. It will enhance battlefield transparency and transform future battlefields through a centralised web application that will provide information to Command and Army Headquarters and Indian Army decision making systems.
