If you’ve taken a break from creature slaying, the new Monster Hunter Wilds Blossom event is the perfect time to dive back in. Capcom’s post-launch roadmap of free content keeps growing, and with Title Update 1 here in full force, accompanied by the seasonal Blossomdance celebrations. You can craft new cosmetics, earn exclusive login bonuses, and even take on the Arch-Tempered Rey Dau – but they won’t go down easily.
As you step back into Monster Hunter Wilds for the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance event, a lot has changed. The Grand Hub is brimming with springtime splendor, Diva is trying out a new song, and there’s enough oversized sushi to fill your belly for weeks. Capcom has injected the RPG with a new sense of life, and there’s plenty for you to do.
As you play during Blossomdance, you’ll be given special tickets that can be used for all kinds of new cosmetics and armor pieces. There are two more complete armor sets to unlock for your hunter, a papier-mâché-inspired palico outfit, and even a range of new spectacles and bandanas to tie it all together. These cosmetics are nothing short of stunning, and are perfect for all your fashion needs.

Capcom also says that “nearly all event quests” will be returning during Blossomdance, giving you a chance to get any bonus rewards you missed since launch. There are 13 total quests throughout the event, and you’ll need to be at least hunter rank 50 if you want to play through them all. You can also come up against the Arch-Tempered Rey Dau, which will put up quite the fight but reward you with the Rey Dau γ armor set if you can take it down.
You’ll want to make sure you keep logging into Wilds throughout Blossomdance, too, as Capcom has some event-exclusive bonuses to give you. You can nab some delightful Seikret decorations, new nameplates and backgrounds, pop-up camp decor, gestures, and even pendants.
If you stepped away from Monster Hunter Wilds after launch like I did, Capcom is doing everything it can to entice you back. The new gear alone is giving me enough reason to return, but being able to spend some time going over the event quests I missed is also a nice touch. Whether you’re fashion-obsessed or want to take on the toughest beasts Wilds has to offer, Blossomdance has something for you.
Capcom is running the Monster Hunter Wilds Festival of Accord: Blossomdance event from Tuesday April 22 to Tuesday May 6.
Don’t forget to check out all the best Monster Hunter Wilds weapons and Monster Hunter Wilds armor combinations, either.
