LUCKNOW: In a boost for Lucknow Super Giants, fast bowler Mayank Yadav, who was undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE), rejoined the team on Tuesday evening. “Mayank has joined the team.
He is fit as of now, but the fitness certificate has not been received from CoE. It should be issued shortly,” a source said. Yadav was retained by LSG for Rs 11 cr and has been recovering from a back injury. He has been out of action since Oct 2024.
LSG have had a major problem with injuries to their premier pacers this season, with Avesh Khan and Akash Deep too recovering from different injuries at the start of the season.
