I-League club Inter Kashi FC have had a remarkable 2024-25 season and despite all odds they still possess a chance of being crowned the league champions. The first task to their path to glory will be defeating Rajasthan United FC on Sunday at the Ekana Arena.
A game of significant repercussions, Kashi were believed to be out of the title race after their 2-2 draw with Churchill Brothers SC. However, with the results of one of their older games against Namdhari FC still under review by the AIFF, Inter Kashi can still win the title.

The Kashi Warriors will be facing a Rajasthan side who are placed fifth in the I-League standings this season. With 33 points in 21 league games this season, the side has been impressive and will be looking to end their season strong.
While Inter Kashi FC only stands a slender chance of winning the title, they will be keen to stop Rajasthan’s progress. The club will be looking forward to show their quality in the final game and have shown great resilience to stay in contention till the final match week.

Mohammedan SC had won the 2023-24 I-League title in some style as they recorded 52 points in 24 games. They were four points better off Sreenidi Deccan FC who finished with 48 points after a challenging campaign.
This season Inter Kashi FC have had a resurgence like any other club as they stand with a chance of winning the title after finishing fourth last season. While promotion might be out, the club have shown their quality over 21 weeks till now.
