Where can you find AC Shadows resources? While Naoe can achieve a lot on her own, some undertakings are beyond even her capable hands. You need to build something special if you want to take down the murderous gang that plagues you, and for that, you’ll need plenty of resources. These can come in many forms and can be gathered in different ways.
The AC Shadows Hideout serves as your home base, and while it may have a humble beginning, eventually you can build up an operation that would put the emperor to shame. To do this, though, you’ll have to collect a lot of resources from around the AC shadows map. AC Shadows resources
Resources generally come in two types: Hideout Resources and Crafting Materials. Hideout Resources are used to expand and upgrade your hideout, with Crafting Materials being used to upgrade Naoe and Yasuke’s armor and weapons.
It’s worth holding on to your resources early on in your playthrough since you’ll be finding gear at your current level fairly regularly. Instead, utilize these materials when you’ve found something you’d particularly like to upgrade and rely on AC Shadows transmog to keep you looking cool.
Hideout Resouces
Hideout resources are the lifeblood of your hideout and are vital if you want to construct new buildings or upgrade what you already have. Your AC Shadows scouts deposit their smuggled resources in the chest in the stable, so make sure you check there at the end of each AC Shadows season.
Here are all the Hideout Resources and their locations:
- Crops: Found in bundles inside enemy encampments and outposts. Can be obtained by smuggling, and as a reward for some missions.
- Wood: Found in bundles inside enemy encampments and outposts. Can be obtained by smuggling, and as a reward for some missions.
- Minerals: Found in bundles inside enemy encampments and outposts. Can be obtained by smuggling, and as a reward for some missions.
- Mon: Can be looted from enemies, found in chests, and as a reward for some missions. You can also sell valuables or gear at a merchant in exchange for Mon.
Crafting Materials
Crafting materials are vital in upgrading Naoe and Yasuke’s weapons and armor. You’ll find new gear all the time, but once you have a particular AC Shadows build that you enjoy, you’ll need these materials to ensure you stay ahead of the power curve.

- Hemp Cloth: Found in common chests, dismantling Naoe’s armor, and as a reward for some contracts.
- Leather: Found in common chests, dismantling Yasuke’s armor, and as a reward for some contracts.
- Silk: Found in common chests, dismantling trinkets, and as a reward for some contracts.
- Gold: Can be obtained as a reward for some contracts, and by trading with itinerant vendors.
- Tamahagane: Found in common chests, by dismantling Yasuke’s melee weapons, and as a reward for some contracts.
- Oakwood: Found in common chests, dismantling Yasuke’s ranged weapons, and as a reward for some contracts.
- Ironsand: Found in common chests, dismantling Naoe’s weapons, and as a reward for some contracts.
