Take our Days Gone system requirements PC benchmark test to answer the question… Can I run Days Gone?
The Days Gone minimum requirements are especially low, only asking for an Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290 alongside an Intel Core i5 2500K or AMD FX 6300.
You’ll also only need 8GB of RAM, a bonus given how many modern games demand 16GB as the new norm. You can future-proof your gaming PC by upgrading to some of the best gaming RAM as it’s one of the cheapest and easiest upgrades you can currently make.
As for the Days Gone recommended specs, these demand an Nvidia GeForce RTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 alongside an Intel Core i7 4770K or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X.
While Days Gone is receiving a new remaster for console, no further visual upgrades or updates are coming to the PC version. Instead, the PS5 remaster is being viewed more as the higher PC settings being taken and applied to the console version of the game.
Finally, the Days Gone download size is still listed at 70GB, with one of the best SSDs for gaming recommended regardless of which tier of specs for which you are aiming. While this could grow with the release of Broken Road, the store page for the DLC still shows the same 70GB requirement as the main game.
