The Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) has launched internship schemes for graduate or post-graduate students from Engineering/General Sciences in the field of Defence technology.
This internship will provide the students with unique opportunities and exposure to the Research and Development(R&D) activities which are carried out by the DRDO in state-of-the-art technology in the field of the defence sector.
KEY FEATURES OF THE DRDO INTERNSHIP
Relevant areas of Internship: The internship will cover relevant areas of DRDO, focusing on Research and Development(R&D) fields and defence technologies.
Project Involvement: Students will be involved in ongoing research projects at the DRDO Lab or establishment.
Lab/Establishment Application: students are advised to reach out to the DRDO Lab or Establishment through their respective institutes or colleges to apply based on their academic discipline.
Access to Unclassified Areas: Interns will only get exposure to unclassified areas of DRDO labs, ensuring security guidelines.
No Employment Guarantee: Completion of training does not guarantee employment.
Liability and compensation: DRDO will not be held liable for injuries or accidents that occur during the period of internship.
Time Duration: The internship period lies between 4 weeks to 6 months, depending on the nature of the course and the discretion of the Lab Director.
