What is Black Ops 6 Zombies Directed mode? With the sheer amount of easter eggs on each of the zombies maps, it can be tough to keep track of everything on offer. Fortunately, Zombies Directed Mode can help direct you through the main quests if you’re struggling to know what to do next.
Historically, Zombies easter eggs were fully hidden quests, discovered by those who looked in every corner and tried interacting with every set piece. That’s why they’ve always been known as easter eggs. In Black Ops 6, however, Directed Mode has been added to help players uncover and complete these main quests. When a Zombies map is first released, you have time to discover the secrets for yourself, and we’ve got complete walkthroughs as well. But, if you’d rather turn on a mode that takes you through each step on-screen, Black Ops 6 Zombies Directed mode is the best answer.
How does Zombies Directed mode work?
Unlike the traditional Zombies mode which drops you onto a map without any guidance, Directed mode makes things a lot easier. Directed provides you with on-screen instructions for the main quests in Zombies, taking you through each step of the process.
The maps available in Zombies Directed mode are:
- Liberty Falls
- Terminus
- Citadelle des Morts
- The Tomb
Zombies Directed also has a maximum round cap of 15, so for those who want a more narrative and exploration-driven experience, you’re likely to prefer this mode as the intensity of the zombie infestation won’t get too difficult. It’s worth noting that side quests and S.A.M Trials are disabled to focus on story immersion.
Each new Zombies map isn’t added to the Directed Mode playlist until the next new season or mid-season update. This gives you a chance to complete the maps without any guidance, and doing so before Directed Mode is unlocked grants exclusive rewards.
