Pakistan cricket team’s bowling coach Azhar Mahmood has said the squad has three spin bowling options available, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Speaking to media Azhar Mahmood said all-rounder Khushdil Shah has been included as both a batting and bowling option in the national team.
He dismissed speculation regarding potential changes to the squad, clarifying that no discussions have taken place on this matter.
He emphasized that team selection is the responsibility of the selectors, and no alterations are currently under consideration.
Regarding fast bowler Haris Rauf, Mahmood mentioned that his condition remains uncertain and that further clarity will come after his MRI results.
He further reinforced confidence in the squad, stating that the best available players have been selected.
Addressing concerns over Babar Azam’s form, Mahmood reassured that there is no need to worry, as the star batter has been consistently scoring runs.
