What are the best Assassin’s Creed Shadows mods? At PCGamesN we firmly believe there are a few games that won’t benefit from a well-crafted mod or two. AC Shadows is no exception to this, and whether it’s something balance-breaking like increasing loot rates or something more implicit like minor texture tweaks, we expect AC’s modding scene to jump on Ubisoft’s latest as soon as it lands.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is finally upon us, and from our AC Shadows review playthrough it’s clear there’s plenty of room for improvement. Though Valhalla’s mod offering wasn’t quite as transformational as some of the other open-world RPGs that have come and gone, we have nonetheless persevered with our shortlist of AC Shadows mods we expect to see, as well as our wishlist of what we’d like to see.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows mods
Considering the lion’s share of Valhalla’s mods revolve around shaders, re-textures, and other visual tweaks, we fully expect more of the same in Shadows. We could also see another save conversion tool precede an influx of 100% clear files.
Unlike Valhalla, Shadows doesn’t sport any opportunities for character customization outside of weapons, armor, etc. As such, there could be mods that, for example, provide more hairstyles or AC Shadows transmog options for Naoe and Yasuke. We wouldn’t be surprised to see unlimited money cheats, either, seeing as the methods of making money in Shadows are very limited, and things like AC Shadows ally upgrades are expensive.
A big mod that would take the guesswork out of exploration is an AC Shadows map fog-of-war remover. There are countless places of interest to discover, and having full vision of its myriad activities and viewpoints would certainly make going for full completion that bit easier.
Though this isn’t exactly the most exciting list of AC Shadows mod predictions to peruse, it’s at least consistent with what we’ve seen in the past. Depending on how popular Shadows become in the community, though, we could yet see more impressive modding feats.
