Just days after patching a major progress-blocking bug in Monster Hunter Wilds, developer Capcom has acknowledged another issue preventing players from proceeding through the story. Fortunately, an update is planned for next Monday, March 10 that will also include a host of other fixes.

The issue in question concerns the “Omens” story mission in Chapter 5-1. According to a Steam discussion post from March 1, players are being asked to raise their Hunting Rank to proceed to the next part of the quest, despite already surpassing the required promotion.

Other users have commented with anecdotes about how players might be able to fix the problem themselves, but it might be easier just to wait for the official patch to ensure the bug doesn’t persist.

Here’s everything next week’s Monster Hunter Wilds patch will address, according to Capcom’s patch notes:

Capcom has yet to provide an exact time for the patch’s arrival, but if it’s anything like last time, you’ll probably want to stay offline until the game is done updating to avoid having an online session disconnected prematurely. Happy hunting!
