Singamayum Shami of Punjab FC becomes youngest goalscorer in ISL history

Singamayum Shami at 17 years and 322 days, became the youngest goalscorer in Indian Super League (ISL) history after he found the net for Punjab FC in its group-stage clash against Hyderabad FC at the GMC Balayogi Stadium on Thursday.

Born on April 18, 2007, Shami scored in the 86th minute to score Punjab’s third goal of the clash.

Punjab, already out of the playoffs race this season, is ninth in the table with 27 points in 23 outings.
